i was taking elevit but it was making me feel sick all the time so i started using cenovis and still am, ive had no problems.Also elivet was costing me so much and wat im taking now costs stuff all, its all got the same vitamins and minerals in it so i rather get the cheaper one.
Hi Bel, Is the colour almost like mountain dew the drink? If it is, your body is getting rid of the excess vitamins in the B group. It is normal, nothing to be alarmed about but stick to the dosage on the package to prevent overdosage of other vitamins and minerals.
Les and I were discussing something similar the other night, and were saying that we should bottle it and sell it to the pepsi cola company! lol.
Hi Bel! This is completely normal - it is just the vitamin B in you system as your body gets rid of what it doesn't need through you urine. I used Elevit from when we started trying for Jack right up until about a month ago & I love it!
i wasnt having anything and the hospitial asked what vitamins i was having and i said none so i thought i better go get some and the chemist recommended this so i thought ill try it
Naturally the chemist is going to recommend it, Elevit is the most expensive pregnancy multi vitamin out there. I prefer it though as it is gentler on the stomach. All horse pills if you ask me, need a bigger throat to swallow the things! lol.
It is true that it's the most expensive BUT it is also the only pregnancy vitamin that is acredited by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Association - they have to pass every prescription drug in Australia before it is allowed to be sold). Well worth the extra money for this reason & because it has EVERYTHING that mum & bub need throughout pregnancy & breastfeeding.
yeah but if u read the boxes on elivet,cenovis or blackmores they all have the same vitamins and minerals and the same amount.If the otheres were so bad they wouldnt sell them and people wouldnt take them.
also all 3 are pregnancy and breastfeeding formulas.wth all of them you can take them while your trying to ocncieve also.Ive tried all 3 and they are all teh same but the elevit did make me sick.
Yes they are all pregnancy & breastfeeding formulas & can all be used while trying to conceive BUT if you look closely they do not have exactly the same in them nor the same amounts. They are all good & it is really each to their own - whatever you prefer. I am qualified in natural medicine & worked in pharmacy for over 5 years before having my children so I know a little about all this. Certain things can make you feel ill in any of them.
Also, if they were all exactly the same why would one make you sick & not the others? There are differences - be them big or small & this question is only asking if it's normal to have yellow pee while using them, not which is better. As I said, we all have our favourites & Elevit is what worked best for me, others work better for other people.
