Totally normal. Usually stops. I think it is because they are there! Especially when they weren't before. Before it was just gummies, now there are these hard things that if you rub them together, they make a noise, and yes, if you respond...they will do it more...
It's a great new game! It used to set my teeth on edge, but I noticed that when I winced, she thought it was funny and did it again, so I trained myself not to react. She did outgrow it, thank goodness!
my son did this too annoying isnt it?. lol but it does wear off thankfully i put it down to being amusing and the fact that those lill gums have just had peggies break through so there prob tender and itchy, i wouldnt worry about it, its just something they do.
Yes it is annoying. It's one of those things that i dont deal with very well either, like nails down a chalk board. I guess that explains some of the strange faces he has been pulling lately too, testing his lips out on his teeth...
It really is like nails on the chalkboard isn't it. Our son realized he could do this about a month ago at 15 months. Yeah, he can do it real loud and it just grates my nerves and makes me cringe....lovely just lovely. We haven't figured out a way to get him to stop either....
