We are still deciding on a boy name. What does everyone think about Austin William? I am kinda hesitant because our last name is Phoenis it is two cities Austin Phoenix. Am I reaching??? I just don't want him made fun of.
The other two names are Aiden William or Cameron William. What are your thoughts.... Please help....
Hey if your feeling weird about the 2names together why not have a middle name to break them up.Also the first 2initials could be a nickname for when his older just incase your worried about the teasing.Im choosing Ashton Jay for my boy so we can also call him AJ,Either way tho everyone will get teased at some point in there life, i remember grade 4 i had friends and all but i was called dannii fanny, and i hated it lol.
I think Austin Phoenix sounds great. Nothing wrong with it... If you think about it, kids can make fun of absolutely anything so I wouldn't worry about that aspect.
I have to say i LOVE the name Austin. He he he but i am bias, that is my son's name. So far i have heard Austin powers too, but i figured that once my boy is old enough for the teasing, that most kids wont know Austin Powers. LOL He has also had Austin Space, you know, lost in space LOL I have strange friends. Austin Phoenix is a cool name!
My girlfriend also just called her son Aiden.
I think what ever you decide on will be the right name. We didnt decide on Austin until the day after he was born, we were going to call him Rylan or Zach, but they didnt suit him.
Go with what you like, not anyone else. By the way i am trying to come up with a boy name too. Just been confirmed that i'm having one of each. Girl names seem to be easier. I've almost decided on Jacquelyn but the boys name i'm not so sure. Only had girls before. LOL.
If I ever have a boy, I want him to be called Matthew Jondalar or Robert Leslie. choosing a name is a big thing so make sure you find one you are all happy with. Picking names that won't get teased is impossible. Kids are cruel, and will still find a way.
Hi, momma2be-really like your picture for your user name!. I think you should call your baby whatever you want. I have heard a lot more weirder mame combos than yours. I did first think of Austin Powers though. But you could always have another and call it-'minime'.You choose what you like my dad wanted to call me Gladys-thank God he didn't,no offence to any Gladys out there.
I agree, I try not to ask expectant parents their choices of names as you can so easily sway their decisions by your own likes and dislikes. Do what feels right to you, I would also add that you may change your mind when you see the baby, sometimes babies don't "look" like their chosen name.
Thats what im worried about-The name not suiting my baby..Ive chosen teh name Ashton for my boy and ive already bought wooden letters spelling his name to put up in his room so im hoping the name will suit him lol also cos i odnt know any other names for boys,i wanted something different,Girls names are definetly easier.
That is a lovely name Ashton....hmmm, maybe if my 3rd is a boy...lol I love Isaac, Michael, Isaiah...My sons name, and my coming nephew...But like the others said go with how you feel...You will pick a name that is perfect!
