At what stage do new/returning members receive access to this area? Is it based on their ranking; as in being under a certain number, like <250 or something? Or is it based on their shield rank; i.e. silver shield 'x' amount of stripes or something like that?
When someone chooses to be deleted and start up a new account (due to legitimate reasons), they choose to start on a clean slate. As they are on a clean slate, they start from scratch and are unable to drag any of the content from their previous account to the new one.
the best answer to that is to put links all about the place so people can still talk to the right person about an article. would take a while if you had loads of articles though.
Thanks Izzy, that confirms what we were thinking, and you would know for sure. I meant new and returning (because returning aren't new), I figured it would all be the same - cheers.
Thanks, I think I got mine around the same time, I never thought about it at the time. That's probably the same for returning members too, as their accounts are essentially new.
