Re: pregnancy question

Hi, It can depend very much on where bub is sitting. I found that there was a period of about 8 weeks that I was really uncomfortable while briskly walking or exercising. If it hurts, stop. Slow down, try other forms of exercise. If possible book into a class that accomodates pegnancy such as pregnancy yoga - instructors in this are trained to help out with any problems you are experiencing ( I only wish these were available when I was expecting...but I was lucky to even have a midwife every few weeks where we lived! However my sister attended these classes and  found them excellent!) I don't think it would be Braxton Hicks at this stage, more likely protesting, strtching muscles!!! If in doubt, get checked by doc or midwife! Good luck, hope all goes well!

Re: pregnancy question

hi

the upper stomach muscles often seperate late in pregnancy and during birth which can be rather uncofortable and takes awhile to bounce back from.

id say for excercise just take slow walks from now on to lessen any damage you may (or may not) be causing.

my muscles seperated this time round and it took a good 6 weeks till i was even able to do moderate exercise after the birth, my baby was faily big and my stomach muscles had always been really really good b4.

good luck

nat

Re: pregnancy question

I would ease up on the type and amount of exercise you are doing.  Your muscles need to be treated as if they were a little more fragile because of the hormones going crazy right now.

Re: pregnancy question
they pains that ya feeling are braxin hixton and no braxton hixton can be on upper and lower part of your tummy ..inside your belly your muscles around the baby are preparing themselfs for the birth of your beautiful baby ... if it gets uncomftorable just lay or suit for 5 mins with something worm on your belly
