Any one travel to South Africa or South America by RV with family?

We are 19 months into our trip around the world and in Europe now and will be for another year or so, but I am starting to research our travels to Africa and South America. We are planning on shipping our RV to South Africa for a long stay and then Argentina for a long stay and slowly working our way back to California before heading out to Asia etc.

Looking for others who have done anything like this for some BTDT advice. Thanks in advance!

hi. We live in Pretoria, South Africa and, although not having RVed through the country, we go backpacking quite often, so know the SA countryside quite well. If allowed, you may contact me on jacobs.e@mweb.co.za so we could have a chat.

We are in the early stages of planning a round the country RV trip with our 3 kids. We want to take a year and show them places and do the home school thing. Regards ErnaJ
