You could start out by building your reputation and job skills by working at home 1st.  Free Work at Home Listing. Do you know of any other possibilities.

I work from home by answering phone calls for a company callled Westathome. This has given me 1 yr Customer Service experience.  The problem is that I have a 4 month old who wants to give his input as well. I've been searching online and found this free listing that I'd like to share. I found a short tern job proofreading. Click here for the

Re: fulltime work/childcare

I use an au pair, it isn't for everyone but it runs about $300 per week no matter how many children you have.  They are also a live-in option, which also doesn't work for everyone.  There are alot of conveniences like helping with housework, picking the kids up, and flexible schedule, but obviously it will depend on the type of job you are getting and the pay.

You could always look for something part-time to fill in some hours and just get out of the house!  Best of luck.  If you want to read more about au pairs, I put a blog page on my choice www.aupairs.ws.

Re: fulltime work/childcare

Hi, not sure if I will be of any help but I have just gone back to work part time and bubs is in childcare 2 days a week.  Our childcare costs over $60 but you do get the 30%  rebate back.  Just ask your childcare about it, or centrelink.  So I work the 2days a week and every 2nd w/end.  I also work evening shift.  So I take bubs to care after his nap and then off to work and my partner will pick him up and feed him and put him to bed etc...  My partner also will look after him on the w/end.  I get the extra money from working evening shift and the extra from working a w/end all the penalty rates etc..  It is hard and if I wasn't doing this then I probably would not work.  Half my pay goes on paying for the childcare.  It is a big juggling act and you both have to work at it, a bit of give and take.

Hope this helps and good luck with getting back into the workforce.
