Skin under penis question

The skin under my sons penis where it folds seems to be cut. The skin is abrased. It looks red and painful. I dont know if he had scratched it of if it is some sort of nappy rash.

What can i do to help it heal before it gets worse?

You could put nappy rash cream on it or try a more natural cream like pawpaw ointment on it.  This has healing and anti bacterial properties and will also provide a barrier against his wee, which will irritate it further.  Smells good too, just don't eat it! lol.  It doesn't taste as good as it smells!

It can be a sensitive area, try some Egoderm that should clear it up quickly. Af it looks sore you can use a little salt in the bath water to help cleanse it and if warm let him run around without his nappy...air and sunshine are great healers.

Keep it clean and it should heal itself rather quickly - just keep an eye on it until all is good.

If anything does not look right just get the doctor to give it a once over.

My suggestion is to keep checking it out to make sure it doesn't get worse, in the meantime, you can use an antibacterial ointment on it so that it doesn't get infected.

Also, it could be just a build up of dirt and dead skin under the foreskin. If so, you will need to clean it the best you can and remove and build up.
