Thanks for the response guys... I thought it might have been some new thing on the way to a bigger better new voting feature - yet I was having trouble reconciling how it might work!
so glad to read this as I had a 'feeling' about someone putting up a star on a comment when they were just giving an response/opinion...I thougth how rude.
Yes it tricked me for a minute or two... I didn't bother to blog in that other group about site functions or whatever, I don't use it. I was thinking maybe it is one of the new features? I haven't been on much in the last few days and thought I may have missed something exciting.
no i actually emailed a minti member about it i havent had a response yet some of mine changed from 5 votes down to ten and they were even about advice that was written and voted on a while back also some of my blog ones went from 5 down to one and i noticed i wasnted the only one it happened to
Phew... I thought it was just me. It's not so nice waking up to see all my comments that were previously unrated to now all have 1 star. I thought it was someone who has waaaay too much time. But glad it's not just me.
This ISSUE has being reported by me tonight in the bugs site group. so hopefully one of the admin will be on soon, and answer to what has happened.. As it seems soon as someone comments they straight away get one star..
Now i have already vented about this tonight as well, and still stick by what i said, as maybe some people will think about how others feel when they get voted on... As just goes to show that no one likes to be voted down..
I think the problem is everyone thinks the VOTE is one star when there is actually NO vote. It's not a 1 star starting point as poor its just a star sitting there looking pretty. When I vote on a star with no rating it goes straight to 5 so everyone should stop stressing!
that's exactly what i thought, then at the side of the stars it didn't have like the name of the stars like highly recommended etc, then i went to the bugs not functioning group, and was going to put some thing in there about it, then cazza beat me to it.
