well you read the pamthlet and it says not to read it after 10minutes as after that the results can be faulty so to play it safe do another pregnancy test and if the faint line appears again after 3 minutes as it says to look at it then theres your answer if not then keep trying good luck

I wouldent get your hopes up as it was such a long time i would take the first result and take another test in a fewdays if your period hasnt shown . Maybe its a little early .

I wouldn't trust the result.  The tests work with special dyes and after a while, they can bleed across the lines and cause the results to be inaccurate.  If you are trying to have a baby and don't get your period in the next few days then do another test in 1-2 weeks time.

Take it as a negative. Do another test in a couple of days if you don't get your period. I hope you get the answer you are after.

one of my preg  tests were faint but there other 2turned out dark purple lines.It doesnt always mean its a negative, you could just be testing to early and there isnt enough of the hormones in your urine.

hi hun, sorry to burst your hope, trust me i know, i have made this mistake all to often. dont believe it, instead take another test in  few days if your period hasnt arrived, or go see your doc asap to get a blood done. Good luck xx

I have found if you do pregnancy tests before your period is due they usually come back negative. Wait a couple of days after your period is due and you will get a more accurate result. There is a possibility you could be pregnant, just do another test in a day or so. Good luck!!

Sorry to say, it is more than likely that the negative is a negative. They say not to read the test after 10 minutes, because after that time the ink can run thru the test to the positive line.
