Hey the past few weeks my right boob has been leaking pretty bad but nothing from the left side.My boobs dont look any bigger then before i was pregnant so i dont understand whats going on.I know its called colostrum thats coming out but why only out the right side and why so much??can i stop this or is it natural for my body to do this?
The last time you asked the question about this, I wrote about what happened with my first daughter. From about 6 weeks along, I leaked enough to fill a swimming pool! One side will leak more than the other, and it is an indicator of which boob is going to produce more of a milk supply. I've also been told that when you work this out, start bubs on the other side first and offer the more productive side second. Helps to even up the supply.
It is normal. Sad, but true, and I started to leak a little more myself the other night. Now I just need a sugar plantation, and my cuppas are set! lol.
Oh poor danni yes its all normal, god i love reading your questions as i went through some of the same stuff but no one to ask!!! I now can not just leak hell i could spray a fire out!! when jade pulls off it goes all over hahahahahah. Then two nights after jade was born i turned into dolly Parton!!!!! oh god we are amazing, take care leaky boob, lol
dont worry its normal, my left always leaked more than my right. the first time it happened to me i was at work which was really embarrassing so i invested in some breast pads then . oh and yes it does get sticky , so dont worry its all normal just anohter one of the joys of being pregnant.
I believe this is quite normal. I dont know how (or even if) you can stop it from happening. But you can buy breast pads. They stick on the inside of your bra and will catch any leakage. Nothing worse than walking thru the middle of a busy shopping centre with a big wet patch on your top LOL
Well i guess i better be getting me some breast pads lol, its not leaking all the way through yet but its just uncomfortable and im sick of going through so many bras hahaha, is it normal to be sticky when its wet??
Yes it's normal. If you are leaking now, just wait til bub arrives!! When i first had Austin as soon as i heard a baby cry, it didnt have to be Austin either, i would leak everywhere. Gross.
