My son is coming up 19mnths and has desided he doesnt want his milk in a morning or his bedtime bottle, hes always enjoyed his milk a cuddle we daddy on the sofa b4 bed but suddenly he's gone from x2 260ml to a quarter of a cup if that....
so I was wondering how do I make sure he gets his daily intake of calcium i know i can give him yoghurts and cheese etc which he'll take fine but how much?
I wouldn't worry too much. As soon as you figure out how to get around this, he'll be back to drinking milk again. LOL. Mine LOVE yogurt. And the breakfast cereal as loads of vitamins and minerals sprayed on. That might help you. Good luck.
Hey there Jo. Jack did the same thing a little earlier than this but I was told as long as he had 2 serves of dairy a day he would be fine. I think you are thinking of Milo as the milk flavouring & I don't think you can get it there but I can send you some if you want to try it - just let me know.
He doesn't want to drink it out of a cup maybe? Also there is a lot of calcium in certain veges as well, so if you bump these up, as well as having a yoghurt and cheese you should be ok. Or even giving him flavoured milk. I have included a link at the top for you as well.
thanks we tried flavouring his milk with neskwik sorry lost my spelling im sure you understand? lol but then i think it must be full of suger and additives ive heard alot of you use milko is it? but i cant find it in the uk he went off his milk in a bottle so we changed to cup as he takes his juice and water so well but he just doesnt want the milk, ill cheak out those links thanks for routing them out for me
