Daylight saving

Hi All,

Just been reading this great peice of minti advice about daylight saving but I'm still a little confused

So the clocks are going to go forward next weekend ie: 7pm becomes 6pm Right?

So if bubs goes to bed at 7pm then I have to start putting him to bed later, a week earlier so that he will be going to bed at 7pm when the clocks change.   Is this right?

So I will start putting bubs to bed later a week earlier.  For example if he goes to bed at 7pm I will start putting him to be 7.10 on Monday then 7.20 on Tueday etc... untill I'm putting him to bed 8pm then when the clocks change it will be 7pm

Confusing I know but if this makes sense to you is it right or wrong.  Should I be going backwards ie: bed at 7pm then start with 6.50 then 6.40 etc..

Now I'm really confused  HELP!

Re: Daylight saving

I am so glad I live in Queensland!  No probs with changing time as we don't have Daylight Savings here, yet.  I would start tweaking the routine now by 15 mins every couple of days so that when you do change the clocks back (7pm will become 6pm), there should be no worries.

Re: Daylight saving

OMG, I'm so confused (I'm in the US). We had our daylight savings early, just started last year, not only that, we sprung forward and not backwards. I was wondering what everyone was talking about and why you were going backwards.

Re: Daylight saving

NOw you see why some of us in Qld are against daylight saving. We don't have to worry about it. Bedtime is bedtime the same time all year round. LOL.

I never understand. I thought it was always the last weekend in March that it changed. Oh well. I don't have to worry bout it. It is still 9.36pm here.
