I didn't have a "show" until I was in established labour.  Best to ring the hospital and let them know so they can advise you.  But don't feel pressured to go in until you are ready.  I went in to the hospital straightaway but mainly because there was a lot of blood and my pain was increasing.

Like all things with pregancy, it varies from person to person. Some lose it during labor, some hours before and others longer than that. The best idea is to contact your Dr. since he/she will want to monitor the situation. Also they are saying parts of a plug can come out over the last few weeks.Rather than all at once

It depends what kind of show youve had i lost mucus for 3 weeks b4 my son and didnt get the final plug as its called untill i was 6cm dilated if your due and you would like things to move along walking and a rotating on a exercise ball can help keep any contractions going. But then other ppl have gone into labour within a matter of hours do yu have any other symtoms?
