This is not a parenting question

I was wondering if any one alse who had been diognosed with Bacterial Vaginosis also has IBS.? I  was talking with my G.P. and sugested it might be related. As every time I have a bad bout of I.B.S. I also get a recuring bout of  B.V. She did not know of any association but I can't help thinking they are inter-related. I would be interested to know of any one alse who has this problem, then I can gather the relevant information to give to my G.P.

Please note I would not give out your information. I just need numbers.

I would appreciate your help.

Thank you . Lisa

What I nightmare you must be having especially when the doctors are of no help.  I would suggest you research and investigate for good alternative therapists, word of mouth is the best way.  Only take a therapist with a qualification that took 3 to 4 years because there is an awful lot out there that have only done 1 to 2 days training. Acupuncture and Shiatsu takes 3 years to complete.  Personally for twelve years I have been plagued with IBS after having my children due to prolapses and the medication only lasts a while.  I was lucky I found a doctor that practices holistic methods because the GP and consultants have been no help to me.   Good Luck
