Just like everyone else has said.... it is safe but can be messy....

Few options.... 1 the shower, mess washes away...

2nd, and as gross as this may sound it works..... As i have a friend who was a prostitute (spelling???) and she used this method to keep her income coming.... 'SEA SPONGE' from the make-up section in the local chemist....

Dampen the sponge and insert it (you know where) go and enjoy making love with your husband, with little to no mess, the sea sponge will soak up most of the blood.... then while having a shower after the moment, remove the sponge. that can be a bit tricky but the trick is to squat down and insert you fingers to remove it.... Takes a little time and practice....

I can say from experience that it works.... as i had not seen my man for a few months due to living in different states for a while, and the one week we had time to catch up i had my periods, bugger..... then i remembered my friends comments on how ladies in that industry maintain their money flow on 'that week'..... 

Also, i will say what alot of others have said, go back to you GP and express your problem again, bleeding that much is not good for you, your iron levels will be down which in turn will make you feel very weak.... Take care of yourself and good luck.....

There is no reason not to have sex while bleeding.  Some people don't like it because of the mess factor, but if you have a plastic sheet or an old sheet to keep the mess factor down, then go for it.

Have you tried going on the triphasal pill to see if you can't trick your body into a regular cycle?  Worked for me a few years back and have been somewhat regular since (yeah, been pregnant more than not over the last 6 years! lol).

Hey hunny! Sex is safe to have just messy..... I had suffered with endometrosis and now its under great control. Hope that you go to the doctors to get some medication  which vary from the pill, hormone treatment and IUD's. If all fails there is other procedure of sugery but thats in extreme cases. Please please go and see to it asap. Im so gald it doesnt hurt to have sex as it did for me and had to suffer alot of pain and its great now not to suffer with that much pain.

It is fine to have sex while bleeding, one of my friends does when she has her period.Personally i dont because i think thats a time where our body is cleaning out.. I would go and see a doctor to see if there is anything they can do to control all the bleeding you get, i hope there is something they can do for you.

I am on the pill and the primolut n to stop the bleeding, but it is still here :( i see my doc again next monday/tuesday one of them. hubby and i are very horny ppl and it is kinda killing us atm as we love the whole naked time so thus asking the Q.

Yes you can, and sometimes can be more enjoyable than normally. Don't ask me why, it just is. Depending on the amount you are bleeding depends on how messy it can get. Yes use towels or be prepared to change sheets etc if it is a lot. Showers are good.

I have just recently been put on a progesterone tablet, to lessen the amount that I bleed a month. It is like 3 weeks out of 4. It is still to be seen if it is going to work, have just started taking it yesterday, as I have to take it from day 5 to day 26. Hopefully this will work. Maybe that may also be an option for you. Talk to your doctor about it.

As others have said, yes, sex while bleeding is fine - just messy. Do you use birth control? The pill can help regulate your period. Also the implanon can be good - that's the rod that gets inserted into the arm. The majority of women who have it in have their bleeding either stop completely or become very light. I was an unlucky one - I actually bled more then usual while I had it in! It might be worth a try for you. Talk to your doctor anyway. Maybe you just need a curet (think that's how it's spelt) or the doctor may know another way to help you.

There's nothign wrong or unsafe about it, just be aware it can get messy. Sex in the shower is a good way to avoid that problem. lol

firstly, please nag your dr for some treatment, because bleeding for such a long time is not good for your body.

it is ok to have sex whilst bleeding, if you really want to.  but, protect your bed with old towels or sheets, and be warned....  it could be messy!!!!

don't continue to have sex if it is or becomes painful and use protection, unless you want a little one!?!!

but most of all, and i know i'm repeating myself, please go to see your dr and don't leave without treatment or a referral to elsewhere!
