i am on ADSL+2, I use firefox 2.0 ( the newer one) and i am curbed atm, but it is redicously slow. i can go and make a cuppa and it has just loaded up when i come back.
Both Les and I use Firefox on Broadband (although you could call Les perhistoric) and we have both found that it is a little slow, but no slower than anything else. We have a certain amount of top speed for a month and after that our connection runs at the lower speed, so not really sure if Minti issue or our end.
As for the new email pop-up it varies for me.. At first it went slow, and took a while to come up so I could write a message and then once I closed my browser and opened it back up (tried again) it came up a little quicker than the time before that..
I am using IE 7 (Vista - if that makes a difference)
As for my modem speed I think it's at 6, I honestly have no idea what that means.. But I am on High Speed Enhanced through Telus.. And my modem has wireless built right into it (which is what I use for my laptop)
The new preview is pretty fast for me - however the issue for me is that there doesn't seem to be a background (like Snap has their preview with a white background) so the preview text is kind of blending in with the email subject and date, etc.
Mine is very slow. I'm using Internet Explorer and I have Broadband. The email window is quite big too and when it loads, half of it is off my computer screen as I have a laptop. I'm not sure if that's the way it loads or if it's just my laptop. I haven't been able to check on our other computer as hubby's home and I'm not game to touch it.......lol.
