Unfortuantly after the birth of my beautiful little girl I was left with a tummy of streach marks and loose skin...... I used bio oil and cocoa butter throughout my pregnancy and after. I also tried moisturisers and vitamin e oil.
Has anyone gone through the same and managed to get positive results of getting rid of them??? Any advise would be appreciated. =)
yeah, had this after my first. The muscles get so stretched and you do aquire extra skin. Only a good work out plan will reduce it. Try things like Pilates or even some dance classes.
I know how you feel I have been left with a fair few stretch marks on my Hips. Fortunately my stomach was spared of the stretch marks but not of being left very wobbly. That is a concern to me as I think the stretch marks will fade but I would like my stomach to tighten up at least a little.
Never being able to get rid of wobbly tummy concerns me.
Be confident in yourself, You are the same person with or without stretch marks I view stretch marks like when someone gets a tattoo to mark a specific time in their life although stretch marks fade and tattoos usually dont.
Hi there i know how you feel! i got so many stretch marks after my 1st he will be 10 this year and yes they do fade and fade heaps i love them now i thought they would never fade but they do.
No amount of oil or moistureiser works its just a lie.....If they come they come
Sorry you just have to live with it.....I think there is a cosmetic thing to get rid of them but hey if ya want to go that far maybe wait till you are finished having kids.
I must be one of the lucky ones, I didn't get any stretch marks after either of my pregnancies. I think it's because I was big before I fell pregnant with my first girl and then only got bigger after her so my skin was already stretched. I hope you find something that will something that helps.
Hey there. I was also left with a tummy full of stretch marks & I wish I had better news They will fade, but never go away. Mine were so horrible, they even bled - ew. Now they are all silver & just a part of me. Rach
Don't be ashamed of stretch marks - they are there because you had a beautiful child!
Someone I once knew was worried about getting stretch marks (her husband actually threatened to leave her if she got them! How slack!) She was so concerned that she asked the doctor what she could do. Now, this will sound gross, but remember it came from a doctor (also it was to prevent so I don't know about getting rid of) ...... the doctor told her to have her husband ejaculate on her stomach & rub it in. Really , he did. Something in it is supposedly great for preventing stretch marks!
Anyway, as I said, stretch marks can't be a bad thing due to the reason behind them :)
Hi, After approximately 12 months, stretch marks will eventually fade to fine silver lines. Stretch marks will never fully disserpear only fade in time.
