I'm struggling with this too - deleted my old avatar pic yesterday and now can't add a new one...have tried all formats, but its not interested...never mind, I'll be a faceless avatar for a while!

Hmmm.... I'm not sure. Actually I had someone just ask me how come they couldn't change their display pic. I haven't had a look into it yet, but will do it now. Will also check the Bugs and Tech groups.

Photos aren't uploading. I have tried everything. Clearing Cache and private data, uploading through photos section, using IE and FireFox and even resizing them so they are smaller. I keep getting a message saying the file is invalid when it is not.

I have posted it in the Bugs and Technical Issues group but I haven't heard anything back yet. I am sure the techies will be on this one asap as it is a major bug

when you upload through phottos sometimes it says it doesnt work and next minute you have 3 of the same photo lol, that happens to me.

If you are talking about trying to upload photos directly to a 'post page' ie, blog, lounge, then I have this problem too.  I have found that I have to upload all my photos through the photo section on my profile page and then use them from there.  Not the best way, certainly the longest, but the only way I can upload mine.

if they are to big they wont upload. I had this prob. dont know what else it could be, have to ask a techie!
