EJACULATION during pregnancy

Of course!  It's only natural.  As long as sex itself is on the cards.  and as other mothers have shared, it can actually help to induce about naturally due to the natural prostaglandins contained in the sperm.  Which may be a reason why you might want to consider holding off on ejaculation in the late stages of pregnancy if you have reason to be concerned about premature labour.

I think the word you're looking for is "ejAculation" - hehe, "ejeculation"...sounds like the eject button or something, haha!

Re: ejeculation

oF course it is fine. The main purpose of sperm is to impregnate, and you have already done that.

Re: ejeculation

It should be fine unless you have any of the conditions mentioned below..so relax ...........and the really good part...at least you don't have to worry about falling pregnant! ( sorry! I couldn't help myself!!) As  mentioned, it is highly recommended as you get close to term as it can help get everything ready for bub to be born. I was told that it helps to ripen the cervix as sperm contains prostalgins ( sp)

Re: ejeculation

Unless you have incompetent cervix (where the cervix struggle to stay closed) or are at risk of premature labour, then there is no reason why you can't have a normal, healthy sex life in pregnancy, including your partner ejeculating inside of you.

In the last 3 or so weeks of pregnancy, your partners sperm may help to ripen the cervix, reducing the risk of having an overdue baby, so sex during this time is very good.  It also helps to tighten your tummy muscles ready for labour and I believe (from past experience) that it also helps bubs to cope better with contractions, minimizing the risk of fetal distress.
