Thanks for the replies everyone!! Ive just entered the 3rd trimester, i think ( im 28weeks ) so i think it may be braxton hicks. The pains werent terribly painful but i could feel them.

depending on how far along you are it could be braxton hicks if your into the 2nd trimester or if still early it could be the uterus stretching . to be safe get it checked out if it last longer then 48 hrs just to be safe

I had apin like that I mean it was soo so obad it  put me on the couch curled up in PAIN serious PAIN!!!!!! With tears and all, DH was worried.

The OBGYN told me I had pulle d amuscle in the side, like one of the ab. muscles from moving around too much, or jsut mving the worng way. It did go away. But man, it was bad....real bad.

I took ALOT of HOT HOT showers and took it easy  and a few days later it was fine.

yep could be Braxton Hicks or maybe even indigestion. 

 Hi there I used to get them to my Dr told me they were braxton hicks but I would still be checked out if it keeps on.  Have you had your appendix out????????????????

hi honey i dont know how far along you are but it could be braxton hicks where your body sends out a sort of dummy run on labour pains happens after the first four months commonly i would relax but if it doesnt go away in the next few days just go to the docs to keep your mind at rest...

I used to get these sort of pains too, only while i was walking around thou. I would say it is just something stretching. Possibly ligiments or muscles?

Also i thought i should add i was getting these pains while walking through the shopping centre lastnight aswell..Only at the start tho not the whole time iw as shopping, and i was there 2 and a half hrs.Id say it was the 1st 20minutes.
