I'm soo sorry for your loss. I too had a D and C afor my miscarriage. I was a different case though, I had NO bleeding afterwards because the D and C proved I had a tubal preg. Not o be gross but, they tested the tissues and it came back negative forfetal tissue. I did a preg. test in the OB?GYN the next day and it was +.......I was still preg. after a D and C....that proved I had a tubal.

The other gave great advice.

I had a D&C last year for polyps and bled approx 3 weeks after, altho the last week was really light

Hi bec. you can bleed for up to 2 weeks following an abortion or currette. i had an abortion when i was 16 (which was horrible and i wish i'd never done it) and i bled for about 2 weeks. you can fall pregnant again shortly after that if you wish too 

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage

I bled for about 3-4 weeks after my D & C but I had been 19 weeks pregnant when I miscarried

I had one about 7 years ago and bled for about 2 weeks after.  I suppose it depends on when in your 'cycle' they would have done it.

I'm sorry you had a miscarriage, I know how hard it can be to deal with it all.

First of all I'm so sorry for your loss........I hope you're doing ok!!

The bleeding can last anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks on average. It should be lighter after about a week though. If you are worried then go and see your doctor.

i had a D&C for my endometrosis a few years ago and have to go and have another one soon :(

but i bleed for 2 weeks after mine.

Hi. Sorry to hear that you had a misscarriage. When i had mine about  5 1/2 years ago, i had a D & C. For memory i`m pretty sure there was bleeding for around 2-3 weeks. Take care.
