Activities to do with a 15thmonth old

I need to structure my dad with my toddler as she is constantly getting bored. Do you guys have any ideas? What activities toddlers get into when they are in daycare? Thanks

My toddler is 16 months. We sing, dance, count and look at nature. Reading is always popular. Music, drawing, playdo and playing with blocks. We'll play with cars and make the noises. Animals sounds are fun too. there are many games we play together, mainly getting down on the floor with her and having fun.

I have 2 sons - one will be 3 in July & the other is just over 15 months. They love to draw, play with playdough, read, play in the sandpit, play with water, swim, ride their little ride on toys, play chasey, hide and seek, counting, sorting clothes pegs into their colours, etc. Most of all they love it when I get down on the floor with them & play anything or read with them.

Play with sand, water, paints, large crayons, make your own playdough, music, go for nature walks - collecting different items, find a park with infant swings, swimming.. there is a ton of stuff for little ones! You may also find organised events for children near where you or your Dad live, libraries or leisure centres tend to hold weekly events for toddlers.

Play that involves you will be her favourite. keep the balloon from the ground.... make music with pots & lids. non-toxic finger painting (not the best clothes for this). tickles. turn up the music & dance. pat the ball back & forward. bake cookies together... lotsa stuff.
