Hello! My partner is experiencing really bad queasiness and upset stomach. She has not been vomiting, but feels really crummy, especially in the evenings. She has tried eating crackers and other small bits of food, which sometimes helps, but otherwise, she feels very uncomfortable. Any suggestions out there for these new moms-to-be?
Lots of rest, plain salted chips and iced cold water or ice cubes. They have worked for me this time round (though over it now). Soup is good too. Anything that is easily digested is recommended as it goes through the digestion process quicker.
Eating about 6-8 small meals throughout the day will help. While preggers I lked to use things called Preggie Pops, here in the states we can only buy them at a clothing store called Motherhood. I bet you coudl find them online though. They worked wonders for me and my sister, and her's was BAD!!!!
hi ... if you go to a health food shop or even the health food section in a supermarket.. there are ginger tablets you can buy .. they are for motion sickness.. my daughter is using these to help subside the morning sickness and they are working for her.. kind regards sharon
Iagree i had ginger biscuits for a while, but still struggled keeping them down sometimes. I the end the only thing i could have when i felt sick was melon, as it has a lot of water and not a strong taste. Hope this helps (remember its all worth it in the end)
the only thing that helped me with my morning sickness was bunderberg gingerale. ginger is good for settling upset stomach's, try it fizzt and try it flat to see which helps best. i actually found that the bubbles helped for some reason.
