Yesterday my daugher got a sticker from the Dr's office and put it on her skin. I thought it would fall off rather easy and so I didn't worry about it. It was still stuck tightly on last night and all day today. This evening we put her in the bath and the top/picture part of the sticker came off but not the sticky backing. She is really irritated by it and I can't even touch it to attempt getting it off. I've tried the warm soaking water, rubbing alcohol. Does anyone know how to remove the sticky part without another huge meltdown? I don't have any baby oil, any ideas???
There is a product out there called Orange Oil (going back 15 years here folks!) that worked for my mum when the same thing happened to my younger sister. It is a more natural based product that uses the natural cleansing properties of oranges (citrus fruits in general).
Oh, and have you thought of icing the sticker and then pulling it off like a band aid? The colder the glue is, the harder it sets meaning it is easier to remove.
