How many Mum's here have fallen pregnant while Breastfeeding still? I haven't had a period since my bubs was born. She sleeps through the night and has just started solids - but apart from that is still breastfed for every feed. Now, I'm starting to get a slightly sore back (lower) and a few other niggling things. I never got morning sickness with my current kids. Just wondering how other Mum's who fell preggo while breastfeeding discovered they were preggo again? What symptoms did you have?
I fell pregnant with #5 (still cooking) while breastfeeding and taking the mini pill. Probably the most obvious symptom was #4 refusing the breastmilk, even if offered in a bottle. Within a couple of weeks, I knew for sure, but I get terrible morning sickness. Guess I make up for you not having any.
it's a myth that you can't fall pregnant while breastfeeding. my mum fell pregnant with my younger sister while using the pill and breastfeeding, AND they used a condom, but it split. can't help you with the symptoms though, i'm assuming they'd be similar to any normal pregnancy
Hi, I fell pregnant while breastfeeding my first son at around 8 1/2 months. I had actually stopped taking the mini pill also as we were planning to get pregnant. I felt ill (I get awful morning sickness), a little dizzy sometimes & just knew I was pregnant - mind you 3 tests came back negative before I finally got a positive.
I don't know why, but there seems to be this fallacy that you cannot fall pregnant while breastfeeding. Wrong! You most certainly can fall while feeding. Symptoms would be the usual pregnancy symptoms - no period, tiredness, urinating more, morning sickness for some, etc, etc
