Claustrophobic?

Hey, I am just wondering if any of you parents out there have kids like my boy.  He seems rather claustrophobic at such a young age. Sometimes when my husband plays with him and holds him tight for fun and doesnt let him go, he just freaks out and after a few plays, he can even cry.  Also, he freaks out when we put the blanket/quilt on him at sleep time, even if the temperature is pretty cold.  He said he doesnt like having the blanket/quilt over him. Is that normal? This is my first kid and I am just curious.

Re: Claustrophobic?

Hi, I think trying to escape from games where he is hugged closely is pretty normal. Often my toddler shrieks to get away, I dont think she likes her freedom cut off. Could be the same thing with the blankets.. most children go through a stage of not wearing clothes or refusing covers. If your especially worried you could try talking to your health visitor or doctor about it? Em x
