Re: Am i Pregnant
Going on the pill means altering your bodies hormone patterns. It can take a few months for your body to find a new rhythm. Always for the first month use other forms of birth control to make sure you are covered.
I know that I had pregnancy symptoms when I went on the pill, but they went within about 2 months and my body settled down again. This was due to the change in hormones, and it did actually make me rather moody (more than normal) but I lost my appetite and ate very little.
When starting to take the pill, wait until the first day of your next period and start on the corresponding day of the week sugar pill. Starting to take the active pills mid cycle can cause more problems like an early period, breast tenderness, excessive eating/lack of eating, mood swings and even lactation. Always with any new medication, be it prescribed or over the counter, read the information booklet that comes with it and follow the directions given.
