Most booster seats don't come with a harness, but  it is possible to have one fitted to your booster seat.  In Australia, the Ambulance Service, who also provide baby capsules and fit them, might be able to help you with this.

It might be possible for you to find info on the net about the laws in your country or state.

No, they don't.  What the safety tests proved is that it is safer to have a anti-submarine clip on the seatbelt.  This is available on all Safe n sound models.  Basically, this holds the seat belt between the legs of the child (it slides over the seat belt and holds in down) and this means they can't slip downwards in a crash and also protect their major organs which can be seriously damaged by seatbelts in a crash if the belt is not low and around their pelvis and not their abdomen.

I have the Maxi rider and an evolution.  I like the maxirider but it is like a big baby seat.  I chose the Evolution becasue it has the anti submarine clip, and my seatbelt wouldn't fit with a H harness on some model booster seats, so this is something to be considered.  I also like that I can move the Evolution easily, the maxirider has the strap which goes to the anchor point, so I can't just throw it in the back if I want to take adult passengers, or throw it in someone elses car if they are going to take my son, it takes about 5 minutes to take the maxi rider out and put it back in.

Hope this helps.

Re: Five Point Harness Booster Seats

Maxi riders have a 5 point harness which is suitable up to 18kgs then you change to a H harness up to 26kgs.

I have 2 and they are brilliant and my boys love the arm rests and cup holders.

Yep was going to say the same. Maxi riders rock, and save money buying more seats as they get bigger.
