Re: Migraines
I used to suffer from the real incapacitating migraines in my teen years, now I get the light sensitive ones that can last for a few days, but I can still function. These are usually pregnancy related or an indication I've done to much around the house and pinched a nerve in my back.
My husband suffers terrible migraines, and the last one, he freaked me out because he just kept beating his head against the floor in the toilet.
Migraines are still not widely understood by the medical community. Everyone has different triggers and symptoms, so there is no cure all solution. All you can really do is be prepared when you feel it coming on.
Empty bladder and bowels if you can, and keep your fluids up. A quiet dark room to lay down and maybe before you get to the vomiting point, a migraine tablet to help you to sleep and ease the pain.
