Re: Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning
Yes this is a difficult one, I'm not sure how old your child is so it depends.
Mine is a toddler and I'm a single Mum so struggle with this daily. The best advice I can give you is try giving yourself a break. I used to have a spotless house now I look around and see the house like something I could never dream I could accept. Emily is happy and we enjoy our days, she cooks with me- she sits on the bench and helps me mix things, throws the vegies in the saucepans and puts the meat in the frypan. I'm careful to ensure her safety, to help with mess I put on a big bib on her and me and just enjoy her laughter.
With regard to house work, I put out limited toys and have the others where she knows we can get to if she wants them. I have a cupboard in the lounge room and a toy box to just throw things in. Emily now helps me put things away as we have made a game with this.
Washing I do when I can I put this on asap in the morning so I can get it dry during the day, I try to wash daily. The dryer I'm sure was invented by a Mum. Vacumming i do daily, although my poor expensive carpet just isn't the same. Its's a challenge, try to not expect too much of yourself they are only little for so long so enjoy it- mess and all.

Re: Cleaning, Cleaning, Cleaning
Oh I know how that is! I have 2 little ones that seem to make it messy just as I get it clean. One thing I do is I wait until they go down for a nap and then do the major picking up and gathering the trash. Sweeping the kitchen and cleaning the counters and the bathroom. I also use one product to clean everything, Pinesol, as it smells good, you don't have to rise and it disinfects. You can use it on everything but wood, that I know of, it says it on the bottle. Anyway, I wait to do the noisy stuff like dishes and vaccum until they are up, which I will put my little one in a chair or his jumper and do the dishes with my eldest helping me or off playing in her room. Also a few simple baskets in the rooms can help you greatly with picking up clothing and toys. If you put a hamper in the room and the bathroom you can just toss the clothing in them instead of carrying them to one spot. Also having baskets in the living room and the other rooms for those stray toys are great, just toss the toys into the baskets and then every other day you can put all the toys away, or let your little one play with the toys that are in that room. Hope this helps...Good luck!
