I do know how you feel..I have a 16 month old who only stays still when she is sleeping lol..I too am tired all the time! The only advice I can give is to give yourself a break and nap when she naps..I do this on occasion and let me tell you IT HELPS!!..Also, the outdoors seem to energize me, there's nothing like fresh air to wake you up..We play outside ALOT and it wakes me up and helps her sleep well once she is asleep! I hope this helps, but just know you aren't alone..I also drink ALOT of coffee lol

Have you tried taking a good multivitamin?  If not, get one!  They do boost energy levels a little and just make sure you body has a top up of the necessary things we need to survive.

I would also be trying to nap when your daughter does, so that you get a reboot during the day.

Presuming you are sleeping when bubs sleeps, and getting all the rest you can, the next thing to look at might be your diet.  Are you getting all the nutrients that you need to keep your energy levels up?  Are you getting out and getting fresh air and a little excercise on a regular basis?  Excercise helps you to sleep well, and it does boost your strength and energy levels in general.  You may want to look into taking a general womens multi vitamin, (get advice from a Naturopath first), or go and see a Doctor if you are really worried.

Join the club, love.  I too am in the same position.  Nothing gets done around the house as when he is sleeping I am usually sleeping or resting.   He has 2 naps and usually I am in bed for both of them.  I will either read or sleep.   He still gets up over night but if he has a good night then I am not so tired and do get things done.   Oh also I work 2 afternoons a week from 1300-2130 so yeah I am tired all the time.

There is a tea that you can get called Ginseng and Lime.  The Ginseng is supposed to replenish energy and enhance concentration.  I get the Lipton brand.  Give it a go it can't hurt.

Welcome to motherhood, you will now be tired for the rest of your life lol..... but in the meantime while she is young, sleep during the day when she is down for hers, try to get to bed at a reasonable hour....  Exercise even if its just going for a walk every day, she will love it and you will increase your energy levels.....  Eat a healthy diet and if your not have a multi vitamin every day...... x

That about somes it up.......I have a 10 yr old, 12 yr old, 14 yr old 19 yr old, 21 yr old and a 2 yr o old grandson..........And I'm still tired!!!!

However, allow yourself to rest when needed, and take some time for your self. Alot of this fatigue is mental fatigue not physical tiredness so take time to do some non baby activities and use the old grey matter.

Best wishes, Miriam
