Re: what age

I took care of their teeth as they came out. As they got older until about 3 years, I would care for their teeth. When they wanted to be independent, I would let them, but finish off.  I would schedule about 3 years after proper home care. Every child is different.

Re: what age

If a child has teeth, even just new little, sharp baby teeth in tiny little mouths, then a dentist is able to help you with any issues you have.

Re: what age

Our NHS Dentist sent for both our girls at six months. This was to check there was no probs with the milk teeth and to get bub used to going from a young age.

I know some though that dont see them untill around two, but I think the earlier the better.

Re: what age

as soon as the first tooth comes through and its important they go as at an early age the dentist can make sure they will have no underlying probs when they grow up and its also nice to have someone who has known your child from an early age and knows their history as opposed to someone that doesnt know much about them when they go at a later age...

Re: what age

according to dentists a baby should have his/her first dentists appointment at 6 months old. Not only does this get the baby used to the dentist but it means the dentist can hopefully head off any problems early They can also give you updated suggestions on how to cleean gums and teeth and what is best to use. Good luck

Re: what age

when every you feel really. but in pre primary (at a public school, i dont know about private) they go to the school dentist.

if you feel there is a prob, call them and talk to them. they can often help over the phone.

Charlie didnt get her 2 teeth until she was 3 and we were concerned so we called our dentist and was told if she didnt have them in a few months to come in. thankfully she got them in a few months.
