Hi at what age can babies/toddlers use baby bath thats not the actual baby one (ie. Johnson and Johnson Baby Bath etc..) but actual bubble bath... Just wondering as my almost 1 year old loves drinking the bath water eww! hahaha
I sometimes use a tiny bit of sensitive Mr Bubble but, it doesnt stop DD from wanting ti sip the bath water LOL She just makes an icky face doing it LOL
Hey there, My little one "ain't so little no more". She will be 4 in August, ehm..... going on 15. But anyway I still use the soap free stuff but you can get some that make bubbles. They don't last for long but its better than nothing. I find its better for her skin - and she has no allergies that I am aware of (touch wood). But it just depends if you are willing to give it a shot or not. One day will have to move to big bubbles - if for no other reason than to maybe get her to not splash as much so the bubles don't go away.
As for drinkign the bath water, mine still does that - she tries to pretend she isn't but she does. Oh well, she hasn't been sick from it yet, so there is hope. Good luck, Annie
i have a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old and they love bubbles in there bath they wont have a bath with out the bubbles i brought i a big 1 litre bottle from the wharehouse and they both love it for $2.99
Look, if your little one isn't particuarly sensitive to body washes and lotions, I can't see any harm. My son couldn't use any of the johnsons products as he would break out with excema. But I would stick to "soap free" products, as they are less harsh and won't dry bubbies skin out. Woolies have one in a big blue one litre bottle, called Fun Time Space Bubbles it's made by Natures Organics, it's only about $2-3. It's not over perfumed and is really gentle on his skin, my mum even nabs a bit sometimes to soak in and she has the most sensitive skin I know (she allergic to perfumes and a variety of other things).
Go for it!!!! Our 1 year old has a mix of baby bath and grown up shower gels too, but she is bathed with her older sisters too. We have a big selection of soaps to choose from (I get bored easily! lol) and they all take it in turns to choose which they are going to have. As for drinking the bath water, gross, but small amounts are actually good for their tummies! EEEEVVVVVVV! lol. Should start bottling it and selling on ebay! lol
We held off trying bubble baths with our son because he has eczema so we really had to be careful about introducing possible skin irritants. He is now 3 and we just introduced bubble baths at about close to 3. It went well a few times, but then now we've stopped. He was playing and got some in his eyes, and so of course the instinct was to rub his eyes and got worst! It's a whole lot of mess, so not we're just taking a bath in plain water.
My daughter is still using johnson's and she's 16 months..I would check w/ your ped only because I have heard that stronger bath bubbles can cause a yeast infection..I know that Johnson't is specially formulated whereas adult bath products are alot harsher
hey,my little one is 15mths old and i have been using goats soap for a little while now. It has been fantastic for her skin as she has allergies and makes her skin so soft. I have bought Billy Goats soap and its the BEST. just dont get it in the little ones eyes....i made that mistake...eekkkkkkkkkkk....lol.....
