firstly just wondering how early can your colostrum come in and is it indicative of how long till bubs comes out? just wondering as i've had some leaks for a day or two now and just wondering as i'm only 32 weeks ( didn' t have this with first 2 pregnancies)
secondly has anyone else had the issue of extra aminotic fluid and what advice or infomation where they told about this condition? as i have been told it can cause a a bub to come early and or that there are swollowing issues with bub and they can be under weight.
I also started leaking in my second trimester. No particular triggers, it would just happen at night so I started wearing breastfeeding pads in my bras. No particular indications come from it, however. And since I had twins I never had problems with leaking once they were born!
I freaked myself and my ex out when I was about 22 weeks cos he woke up his back saturated along with the bedding. Woke me up to find that my top was also soaked, so from then on in I had to wear breastpads to bed if I was going to cuddle him. That was the only time it happened, when I would hug into him
hey, i had colostrum pretty early in my pregnancy...so thats all normal..
as for the Aminotic fluid, i was full of it!!! I had to see a specialist at 34 weeks and just kept up the dr at weekly visits. I wasnt told anything about baby coming early or anything about issues on swallowing it. My little onw wasnt under weight at all. She was on the small side of my babies, 7lbs but she wasnt underweight. When my waters broke the dr couldnt beleive how much was there, he had even tried to be prepared by wearing a white trench coat and gum boots!!!! They had to break my waters for me....maybe u should ask ur midwife to get the right advice
Sorry i cant answer your second question but i can the first. Colostrum can come thorugh anytime. Iv ebeen leaking since 20weeks and now at 38 weeks its alot worse. It doesnt indicate when labour will start, if it did i would have my baby by now i think.
Colostrum? Um, with my first, i seem to remember we were changing our sheets everyday from about 6 weeks onwards! lol. Not kidding, was producing enough to water the gardens!
Your breasts will go through phases of production and cleaning throughout your pregnancy, which is normal. They will start leaking when they are ready.
Can't help with extra amniotic fluid sorry. that is one thing I've not come across before so don't have any mental files on it.
