I have had 3 pregnancies.  My Doc told me at 5 months waht each sex was and was right on target!

I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks which clearly showed my baby was a girl!!

Hi I hope this will answer your question. When I was 3 months pregnant we could see for the first time that he is a boy. These days there are other methods they use like 3g to see from an earlier stage the sex of your baby. It also depends on how "shy" your baby is while in your whomb, they do clinche there legs together which make it impossible to see but if you are lucky he/she will not be too "shy" to show.

You can find out at your 19/20 week ultrasound providing bub co operates and lets you see...

If you have an experienced radiologist they may be able to see at 13 weeks like they did my son and my nephew. Then they checked again at 16 weeks. However 'normal' is 18-23 weeks.

                 I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and due for my next ultra sound at 16 weeks. Both the Doctor and Radiologist said that they will be able to determine the sex from that ultra sound. With my first it was around the same time as well.

Your baby's sex is evident at 11 weeks BUT even though they are there many radiologists and Dr's will not tell you until further on in the pregnancy as the bigger the private parts get the easier they are to see unless of course you bub prefers to let everything be open for viewing . . he he he

Because many Dr's and radiologists have their preferences on when to tell you the sex you will find that the answers from people will vary . . The general rule however seems to be between 18-28 weeks . .

the best time to detremain the sex is from 18 to 22 weeks, as bubs is big enough to see the body bits but small enough to see a good bit of bub on the ultrasound. it can be done later but you will lesslikly see anything unless your bubs like mine and flashes the dr.

Well i was about 30 weeks before it was visibly clear that is was boy or girl. but i guess it depends if the litle tacker wants to open its legs and let you look. plus it can never be 100% sure.

We found out at our first US at 16 weeks.

generally you can get it checked at your 20 week scan. the 1hour one where they check all the organs and bones ect to make sure everything is ok.
