Re: MIlk?

My son is 22 months and only wants milk. we  give  him some in the morning and again at bedtime, then when he wants it during the day we simply say no, and he drinks water and occasionally juice.

Read this article about too much milk in the toddlers diet.

Re: MIlk?

Are we talking about cow's milk?  If so, you'll have to be careful as too much can cause constipation.

My son used to drink a lot of cow's milk, but nowadays he has it 2x a day (breakfast & bedtime) and in between he drinks juice.

Oh yeah, that's me!  My girl was like that up until about 2 1/2yrs, but she still loves milk.  I think it's the best thing, next to some water, cause of it's calcium and VitD.    I remember I used to drink about a gallon every 2 days or more.  My parents used to tell me to stop drinking it cause I would drink to much, lol.

skye used to drink over 5 pints a day!!!! and it became a real issue when she began not wanting her dinner or lunch etc so we had to cut it out quite dramaticly ie for one week 3 pints then 2 etc she also had a gut on her like pot belly and it has cured this also!!!!

Re: MIlk?

Our girls like anything, as long as it is drinkable! lol. They do like their milk a lot though.  Have it for morning and evening drinks and then juice at lunch time and water if they need any other drinks.

I suppose it depends on the age of your daughter as to how much milk she should be having, but growing kids need a lot of calcium, so milk is good for that.
