Mommy question...daily things

Feeling quite tired and just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat..I work part time ( 2 long days a week)..I also do the majority of everything for Cate as well as 90 percent of houselhold tasks..Whew! I fall into bed at the end of the day!

Anyone else here in the same boat?

Being a mom I am deffinately in the same boat. Just being a mom alone is exhausting! I used to do online classes, work 25 hours a week, daily cleaning and take care of son. All of that took its toll so im taking a year off from school and i quit my job and won't be getting another one for a month or two

Re: Mommy question...daily things

hi,

Yes we are all in the same boat, I only have one child who is at school now, everyone said I wont know myself when....... 1) she goes to preschool 2 days a week

                                                    2) when she goes to preschool 3 days a week

                                                     3) when she goes to school.

Can I tell you something? with all this supposed "Free Time" I have found myself busier than ever not with just work but with the household chores etc etc.

I feel it is a never ending cycle at times but thats all part and parcel of being a mum.

The most important thing anyone can do who is raising a family is make sure they take time out for themselves even if it is 20mins a week. Where you can just relax or take your mind elsewhere. thats why I love minti so much its so good to just excape a little each day.

Take care and I hope you have a wonderful day

I, along with a lot of parents, am in the same boat. I have a 3 year old and 12 month old twins. I do 95% of the house chores, which has gone by the wayside. But hey, I would rather play with my kids.

Join the club...  LOL  I am one of the lucky ones as my partner is very supportive and helps out but I am still tired.   I work part time like you and have one baby.  When I am not working we are usually out and about or at home..  Sometimes the house work does lack a bit and I am really tired.

I always have a rest/nap when bubs does.    I either sleep or rest on the bed and read.  When he is awake I am usually playing with him or as I said out and about.

Let your partner get up one day of the w/end, so you get a sleep in.   I sleep in on Saturday and He sleeps in on Sunday.  During the week we are all up by 7.  Having the sleep in allows us to be more refreshed and relaxed.  That makes for a happy family.

It is quite hard and you do have to find that balance.  Sometimes you just have to let some things go and look after your self.  If you are too tired and not happy then your child will pick up on that.  You are now a parent and you will alway be tired.  LOL

there are lots of parents who do the same as you.  I don't work, but having 4 kids (and another on the way) is hard work.  Sleep is limited, getting to use the toilet is hard and the constant 'Mummyyyyyy' can really grate sometimes.

We do the best we can under the circumstances.  Just make sure you get some you time fitted in there somewhere.
