Re: periods

I know when I have my pap tests done, I bleed for a while afterwards.  I have overly sensitive cervix to latex and being touched.

I think you might be stressing about something or possibly your body is still trying to find a rhythm after you last bubs was born, which can take a upto a couple of years.

If you are concerned, then go and see your doctor about it.

Re: periods

I've never had this happen from a pap smear.  All a smear is when they take a special brush and brush the tip of the cervix to collect cells.  This has nothing to do with and should not effect your period.  I would go to the doc and have your hormones checked.  Often this is what causes your periods to be all out of whack.

Re: periods

I've been getting a pap smear yearly for 11 years now and I've never had this problem.

I'm thinking that your period being all over the place is not due to the pap smear. Are you in any stress? are you ill? Both these things can throw off your cycle.
