Re: What time is breakfast?
i used to give them weetbix as a rule weekdays and wekends and public holidays they were allowed to have cornflakes or whatever they fancied.
maybe he is finding it a little bland / boring. try adding slices of bananas wih his cereal. but have the cereal as the banana will fill him up.
or sliced peaches or pears or fuit salad . the idea is to try and make breakfast fun and exciting.
you could also eat your breakfast alongside him and as your eating you could go on how yummy it is . toddlers and children have a tendency to mimic us
if its convenient have a friend and her child "drop in" once a week and share breakfast together. that way if he sees its a fun thing to do he will then get into the habit of eating on the other days as well.
put smaller portions or if its a large portion dont worry if he only eats some of it.
time really doesnt matter but ideally between 7 and 9 are best. otherwise it becaomes too close to lunch
cheers annie
