Baptism - Four godparents

My brother is baptising his daughter and he picked my husband and his wifes cousin to be the godparents. The next day my sister in law called me and  told me she spoke to the church

and she is allowed to have more godparents. So she  put me as a godmother and her brother.

My question is am I a godmother or a "witness". All four of us are catholic.

Will my name be also on the certificate or just my husbands!!!
