Yes from 6 months. As long as it is cooked properly and not rare.

I think most people have fed their babies red meat from a much younger age.  We have started once they have been on solids for a little while, and had no problems. 

One thing that could prove to be an issue is your child's iron levels.  They might be much lower than they should be.

My twins are 13 months old and they are already eating red meat. But they do eat chicken most of the time though..

I don't see anything wrong with given red meat. Just make sure it's well cooked.

Yes go ahead, I started my son on red meat at the age of 8-9mths just cut off the fatty bits.

 I was told by our doctor that it was fine, but it would be best if it were organic since fatty tissue stores a lot of the hormones etc that goes into the cows. Other than that, just to make sure it is cooked well and in easily chewable pieces (like hamburger).
