Re: RAYNAUD'S DISEASE
Hi - as an adult female I have Raynauds Disease and it was passed down to me from my mother ("thanks mum!"). I don't find it a disability as such. Winter/cold weather is always uncomforable. I'm a bit of freak in that I still wear socks to bed during Summer to keep my feet warm. My husband and children complain about how cold my hands always are and I find I need to be aware of things like sitting positions and what shoes I wear - if I sit cross-legged or with my knees at an angle above my hips for too long the veins in my hips pinch and I end up with dead legs and can't get up or walk for a while. If I wear high healed shoes I end up not being able to feel my feet for a few hours and it is painful to walk. There are other things that I experience along the way, but if you want more info happy to chat.
Hope this sheds some light.......Hoaries ;)
