How big an age gap are we talking here?  I'll be turning 28 in a week or so and my partner is 52.  That is a 24 year age gap, but neither of us has ever been in such a good relationship.  Him being older means he is more experienced with the world and therefore more stable.  I do have to say though, I'm a very mature person for my age and always have been, so don't notice the age difference.

We have been together for over 7 years now and because we have good communication skills and talk openly, we will last for a lot longer yet, like maybe another 50 years!!! lol.  I wish.

You have to do what is right for you and if you feel comfortable with this older man, then go for it.  Just take it slow and see where things take you.
