Bleeding problems

Hey i have a slight problem, i'm on the pill and take it every day, have been for the last 3 years. And always get regular periods and are always on time. The problem is this month i got my periods 5th july-8july, like a normal period. Then on the 12th July-14th July, started bleeding again, but was more a bright reddy colour. Then got another bleed on 21st July-24th july. I'm really worried as i have no idea why im bleeding so much, does anyone know what it could be. Help

thanx

Re: Bleeding problems

You could be pregnant. I suggest calling your doctor about because if in fact you're pregnant, you don't want to be taking the pill.

Re: Bleeding problems

I agree with everyone else here. This needs to be seen by your doc. My case was a little different, being vegitarian at the time I had implanon and bleed for 3 months straight, I ended up aenemic (sp) and really quiet sick. (just an example of things that can happen) Hope this is resolved for you soon. xx.

Re: Bleeding problems

I was on the pill for several years, and after about the first 18 months, I started to have the same problem.  I was in fact pregnant but because I stopped taking the pill during the hormone pills, I lost the baby.

There are many things that can upset your cycle.  A change of diet, routine, added stress etc will all contribute to a less than reasonable cycle.

Go and see your doctor.  They should be checking you out, including a blood test, every time you go to get a prescription, so tell them that you are having this problem and they will be able to help you better.

Re: Bleeding problems

This is really something you need to seek professional medical advice about.  Don't be shy, your health is more important than anything else, so make an appointment and find out what is going on.

Re: Bleeding problems

I  feel you should be seeing your doctor, any bleeding that is  not normal for you....should be  seen to....maybe it is nothing but better to be safe then sorry.

Maybe you might just need a change in the pill you are taking.

Cheers janice

Re: Bleeding problems

Any different bleeding patterns should be seen by your GP. There can be so many different reasons.
