Funnily enough, Milo is an excellent source of iron (1 cup is half your RDI of iron) plus is extremely easily digested. Make it up with water, skim milk, full fat milk or soy depending on your preference. Also full of calcium which is great for your preggie body and growing baby.
Guinness and stout are also great for getting your iron up although obviously you want to take it a bit easy being pregnant. Mushrooms are good too.
Make sure your iron tablet has vitamin C as well as this aids absorbsion. Your dr might talk to you about iron injections if your iron becomes dangerously low but hopefully tablets and good diet will take care of it.
