Don't forget that pregnancy 'weeks' are counted from the first day of your last period (assuming you have a normal cycle). So, at the moment of conception, you are two weeks pregnant. You can never actually be one week pregnant - unless you count the end of your period!
Also, most months are 4 and a half weeks - four weeks is 28 days, so you usually pick up 2 or 3 days each month - this add up to the extra two weeks. That's why babies are considered full term after 38 weeks.
So, as far as I can work out, you would have been pregnant for six months at about 28 weeks - is that right? 26 weeks in 6 months (half a year) plus two weeks at the beginning.
That leaves another 12 weeks (or three months) to get to week 40.
Does that sound right to others?
