Re: why does she cry?

Hi smashie, yes it's awful. I too had a baby who cried and cried and cried. She only slept for an hour day and night so honey I definitely know how you feel. There are lots of reasons why babies cry,  I tried cranial sacral osteopaths, sleeping hammocks, homeopathic colic drops, Dr's, ER's and kept hearing yes babies cry, no kidding. Was even admitted to a mother baby unit with post natal from lack of sleep and no family support. Anyway eventually I headed my beautiful girl to the Children's hospital and we saw specialists. She was admitted with breast milk proteins allergies started on a wiz bang formula and guess what she stopped crying all despite me being a first time Mum with no sleep. Take a look in my profile I have an article that you may find useful , ???? but all I  can say is organize to see a specialist and yes ten percent of babies cry for a treatable condition.  Emily had multiple food prob's that were crossing my milk,  the breast feeding association  can give you a  list of foods to avoid, by the way you could end up a very limited diet.

If you have a friend, family member ect  ask them to take your bub off you for a few hours and please try and get some sleep. Let me know how you go If you like. I definitely understand.

Re: why does she cry?

hi hun

there is a lot of reasons she may be crying. these are justguidlines as all babies are different.

Hungry still, wet, belly upset, cold, anxious and if you are stressed bub can pick up on that.

My 2nd bub was a terrible baby he constantly screamed and wouldnt settle. I went to the baby health nurse and went to a special place to get my milk tested to see if i was producing enough nurishoment in my milk. I was expressing heaps but we started to wonder about the nurishment side of it. That was ruled out so our next step was to go to a sleep and routine setteling clinic. I went for the day, Wrapped him put him in bed walked out made no eye contact  to see if that helped. In the end we ended up at TRESSILLION and it was the best thing we ever did. We worked out he had reflux and lactose intolerant. With his bed we put some pillows under the mattress so he was elevated and this worked wonders. I also had to change to bottle so I caould add thickner to his food.

I hope this help if you ever want to just chat feel free to contact me.

I also have a 4 month old who was 5 weeks prem.
