nasal congestion??

Ashton 3 weeks old, is breathing funny through hisnose. Sometimes its normal and quiet and sometimes its wheezing or sounds stuffy. Ive looked in his noze and cants ee any snot, he had peeling skin in there but i got that out.

What can this be and what could i do to help it??

Hi Dannii

CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your son...

I haven't used it BUT i was told of this stuff called Little Fess for babies (by a mum who happened to own her own pharmacy) ....its meant to be really good for clearing blocked noses for babies (and small children)....you get it from the chemist/pharmacy and i dont know how much it is but i dont think its very expensive

i hope his nose clears up soon :)

I use Fess Little Noses on both my kids as soon as they get the sniffles, it's great and very safe.

I have bought one but haven't needed to use it yet, it wasn't the fess brand but is the same thing. i think it cost between $10 and $15.  It comes with saline drops (that go up bubs nose) which softens any snot  and an aspirator which sucks it all out.
