Re: Im in pain :(

Hi Dannii, If the pain comes back, it is worth while getting checked out. The first couple of rounds of ovulation pain after birth can be a little painful, but if it continues, make sure you have it checked out! It could be many things, ut it is always best to err on the side of caution!

Re: Im in pain :(

It can take several months for your body to get back to normal, especially if you aren't breastfeeding.

This pain you are getting could be caused by any number of things.  It could be you are ovulating, and the right ovary is the one trying to drop an egg.  You could have strained a muscle in your back, which will give referred pain in the front as well.  Your body could still be trying to settle down from giving birth, which can cause sharp pain etc.  And as others have suggested, it could be apendecitis

If it is that bad, then you should be getting it checked out just to be sure.

Stopped bleeding after 2 weeks!!!! How did you manage that?  I bleed for upto 8 weeks with mine, and I breastfeed too!!!

Re: Im in pain :(

I agree with the others if you are in that much pain I would go to the doctor first thing this morning if you can't get in maybe be worth a trip to the hospital.  You should always be safe then sorry.  Hope it goes away soon

Re: Im in pain :(

My guess is apendix,or perhaps a infection. Either way, get to your doc. Hopefully it is nothing xxxx

Re: Im in pain :(

If you had had a c section then I might suspect an infection (Sorry don't mean to scare you) but as you had a vaginal birth then it may just be a case of things settling down but the discharge would worry me so please go and see your doctor.

I hope you get well soon

Re: Im in pain :(

seems its youer right side hun i would get it checked . Do u still have your appendix ? that gives you pain in the low right side . It could be just your body sorting itself out or your period coming but its best to be safe rather than sorry . xxx

Re: Im in pain :(

Dannii, it could just be your body settling your bits and pieces back into place, I remember getting quite painful cramps. However, it could be your period, an infection or as it is the right side it could be apendicitis. I suggest that if you are not 100% sure that you get yourself checked out sooner rather than later.

Best wishes, Luv Winnie.xxxx

Re: Im in pain :(

Hi Dannii,

This could just be your muscles and uterus settling back into shape . .  A lot of women suffer from 'after birth' pains but this only usually happens after the second child . . .

If your pain continues it would be best to see your GP - Try taking some panadol and see how things are going . . I doubt that it is anything serious as if it were related to your sons birth you would have had other complications before now  .

I hope things get better for you . . Cheers Kellz
